Samsung Electronics Saudi Arabia Celebrates the Success of a New Batch of Solve For Tomorrow Platform
Samsung Electronics Saudi Arabia announces the success of a new batch of participants in the Solve For Tomorrow platform, which ran in collaboration with Beyond Academy, from November 10, 2024 to February 6, 2025, that batch included 166 participants.
Solve For Tomorrow is a global platform created by Samsung to nurture young minds from both genders to unleash their imaginations, as this program empowers Saudi youth and school students by offering the opportunity to use their skills in science, technology and others. The program’s curricula also focus on developing critical thinking, creativity and teamwork skills.
In this regard, Hendrick Lee, the president of Samsung Electronics Saudi Arabia, stated, “We are proud of the success of the third edition of Samsung’s leading platform, Solve For Tomorrow, which reflects Samsung’s commitment to fostering and achieving sustainable growth in the communities we operate in, empowering local talent and providing them with the essential skills and knowledge to keep up with technological development and advancements.”
He also affirmed that “the company’s strategy aims at strengthening its presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia across all aspects, in alignment with Vision 2030, which prioritize enhancing the investments in digital transformation.
Ahmed Alattas, Beyond’s CEO also explained “Our mission at Beyond Academy is to enable future job market readiness for talent in Saudi, and our partnership with Samsung’s Solve for Tomorrow reflects the mutual vision for empowering youth at all levels.’
From his side, Dr Fares Alaboud, the Innovation Director of Beyond said “As an SFT judge and mentor, I am inspired by the creativity and ingenuity of some of the projects produced. Enabling youth with critical thinking and creative skills is our responsibility towards the Saudi Vision 2030, with the goal of shaping a brighter, more sustainable future for our Kingdom and the world.’
It’s also worth mentioning, that the platform is present in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Mecca, Medina, Jubail, Yanbu and Taif, with the aim of targeting students between the ages 14 and 18 years, to provide inspirational ideas.
