• One-off design brings a distinctly Saudi expression to Coca-Cola’s iconic contour glass bottle
• Special-edition bottles available for a limited time across the Kingdom
Coca-Cola is marking Saudi National Day with a limited version of its iconic contour glass bottle, bringing a distinctly Saudi expression to one of the world’s most recognizable designs.
Created especially for the occasion, the special-edition bottle brings together Coca-Cola’s signature red with the green synonymous with the Kingdom, complemented by Saudi-inspired design elements across the label. Inspired by this year’s National Day theme, “Our Pride Lies in Our Nature,” the design celebrates the qualities that embody the spirit of Saudi society – authenticity, generosity, ambition, solidarity, hospitality and courage – bringing a distinctly Saudi expression to Coca-Cola’s iconic contour glass bottle.
Ghofran Dhain, General Manager KSA, The Coca-Cola Company, said: “Saudi National Day is an important moment to celebrate the identity, character and values of the Kingdom. This year, we wanted to mark the occasion by taking something unmistakably Coca-Cola and giving it a distinctly Saudi expression. Our contour bottle is a symbol of our own heritage, and reimagining it through the values at the heart of this year’s National Day identity is a way for us to celebrate our long-standing connection to the Kingdom and its communities. ‘Our Pride Lies in Our Nature’ reflects qualities that resonate strongly with us, from ambition and generosity to hospitality and solidarity.
“These values also resonate with the way we look to contribute to the Kingdom throughout the year. From our long-standing local presence to initiatives focused on water replenishment and creating opportunities for economic empowerment, we continue to invest in areas that contribute to the Kingdom’s ambitions,” she added.
The special-edition builds on Coca-Cola’s more than three-decade relationship with Saudi Arabia, where the brand has been locally produced and served through The Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Saudi Arabia (CCBCSA) since 1993.
Commenting on the limited-edition bottle, Furkan Aydin, General Manager, CCBCSA, said:
“Bringing this special-edition bottle to life here at our Riyadh facility is particularly meaningful. It is a product made in Saudi Arabia, by our local team, specifically for Saudi National Day, bringing together Coca-Cola’s global heritage with the local capabilities and expertise behind our operations in the Kingdom.
