The CSR activation recognized delivery riders with Iftar boxes, brand-sponsored gifts from Gazebo, SharkNinja, and Nur Jahan, Dunia Helwa Kindness Kits, and appreciation envelopes as a gesture of gratitude for their daily service.
7awi Media Group, through its positive storytelling platform Dunia Helwa, recently organized “Delivering Kindness,” a Ramadan CSR initiative dedicated to recognizing and appreciating delivery riders who keep the city moving every day.
Held in Dubai, the initiative aimed to give back to riders who spend long hours on the road delivering groceries and meals to homes and offices across the city. While many people stay indoors, these riders continue working tirelessly to ensure daily life runs smoothly.
As part of the activation, delivery riders who arrived at the office expecting a normal delivery were instead welcomed by the Dunia Helwa team and surprised with a heartfelt gesture of appreciation. Riders were guided to a “Thank You Wall” featuring messages such as:
“Thank you for my morning coffee.”
“Thank you for my midnight snack.”
“Thank you for my late office dinner.”
Each rider received an Iftar Royale box from Gazebo, a Blast Portable Blender from SharkNinja, a pack of rice from Nur Jahan, a Dunia Helwa Kindness Kit, and a Ramadan appreciation envelope as a token of gratitude.
The Kindness Kit included practical items designed to support riders during their daily work, including a thermal water bottle, USB rechargeable fan, hydration sachets, and a cooling towel.
Delivery riders from multiple platforms participated in the activation, including Talabat, Deliveroo, Careem, Noon, Keeta, and InstaShop.
To bring the riders to the activation naturally, the Dunia Helwa team placed small orders through multiple delivery platforms. The orders included everyday items such as small bottles of water, juices, nut bars, and chips/snacks, which were later redistributed to the riders as part of the initiative.
The initiative was also documented for social media, capturing genuine moments from riders’ surprise reactions to their appreciation for the gesture. The content highlights the human stories behind the riders who work tirelessly to support their families and keep the city running.
Through Delivering Kindness, Dunia Helwa continues its mission of sharing positive stories and promoting acts of kindness within the community, particularly during the spirit of Ramadan.
