A Gap in Large Language Models and Zero Gravity’s Guidance to Overcome It

Secrets to Understanding the Use of Large Language Models in Quotation, Exploitation and the Protection of Ideas

Mr. Aamar Kulkarni, Chief Executive Officer of Zero Gravity Group in the UAE, has presented valuable guidance for innovators seeking to protect their ideas while working with large language models such as ChatGPT and Gemini.
He explained that anyone who carries an idea they believe could change the world, create wealth, solve meaningful problems, or stand as a powerful creative concept and who wishes to develop it, test it, benchmark it, or even explore it through generative AI models must first pause.
From his experience in this field, Mr. Kulkarni advises innovators not to rush forward driven by excitement, but instead to ask the most important question before anything else:
“Do I really have to trust the machine I chose for this purpose?”
Before handing over the essence of any idea, he stressed the need to reassess one’s understanding of the legal and technical boundaries of artificial intelligence systems and to ensure complete reassurance that the idea remains safe as if it had never left its owner’s mind.
Mr. Kulkarni emphasized that the search for breakthrough ideas is the primary concern of passionate young programmers and entrepreneurs with creative talent. He noted that this question is raised repeatedly by developers who regularly approach Zero Gravity Technology, often asking openly:
“Will the model steal our idea, reshape it into alternatives, and redistribute it to other users or use it for its own benefit in some way?”
He explained that innovators and businesses today rely heavily on AI for research, analysis and product development because of its unmatched ability to accelerate thinking. However, a dangerous gap exists in how sensitive ideas and intellectual property are treated.
Here, Zero Gravity has taken a clear position. Benefiting from these tools must be done with conscious awareness and professional discipline, not with impulsive enthusiasm that ignores how these models actually function or overlooks the principles governing their use.
Mr. Kulkarni clarified that artificial intelligence models do not possess awareness, intent or self interest in stealing ideas. However, they are not closed environments, nor are they sovereign authorities over the data stored on their servers. They operate on cloud infrastructures governed by operational and legal frameworks, and conversations may, depending on platform settings, be used for safety monitoring, system improvement or development.
For this reason, Zero Gravity warns against confusing the analytical power reflected in refined AI outputs with absolute confidentiality, as if these models were trusted confidants or loyal partners.
    Mr. Kulkarni stated with clarity:
“Artificial intelligence models are highly efficient tools for analysis and consultation, and the right prompt plays a crucial role, but they are not systems designed to safeguard secrets or protect intellectual property.”
Zero Gravity’s Strategic Guidance for Innovators
Zero Gravity recommends that innovators follow four fundamental pillars:
    1. Share the Framework, Not the Essence
Innovators should present ideas within general conceptual frameworks without revealing their core intellectual value. Language models can be used to analyze problems, test assumptions, critique methodologies and evaluate scenarios without disclosing the decisive elements that create competitive advantage.
    Mr. Kulkarni added:
“Whoever owns the secret formula of an idea should never place it entirely into any public cloud system.”
    2. Understand the Limits of Encryption in Chat Interfaces
Some users request encryption within chat sessions. However, what is commonly referred to as encryption in this context is often merely linguistic formatting, not true security encryption. It does not prevent data from reaching platform infrastructure or from being used for system improvement.
    Mr. Kulkarni clarified:
“Encryption inside chat tools is primarily organizational. It does not provide legal or technical guarantees, as many users, even experienced ones, mistakenly believe.”
    3. Choose the Right Environment for Sensitive Projects
For high sensitivity projects, Zero Gravity advises using enterprise grade AI platforms that offer contractual commitments not to use data for training or deploying local and offline models.
    Mr. Kulkarni stated firmly:
“Any idea fully entered into a public AI model must be assumed to have left the exclusive control of its owner and can no longer be considered entirely private.”
    4. Do Not Reveal Everything
Mr. Kulkarni emphasized that the real risk does not lie in AI conspiring against users, nor in generating similar alternatives, but in treating AI as a trusted or protected environment. This encourages excessive disclosure, delayed legal documentation and uncritical reliance on generated outputs.
    He concluded:
“Artificial intelligence must be treated as a decision support and analytical tool, not as a trusted vault for secrets, regardless of account settings.”
    Zero Gravity’s Final Advice
Use artificial intelligence to expand the horizons of thinking, but protect ideas using the right methodology.
Innovation does not require courage alone.
It requires awareness that protects it.
    A strategy that secures it.
And a roadmap that enables it to grow, scale and invest in the future.
Because the future belongs not only to the bold, but to the wise.
