Notable Progress in MUZN Energy Project
Damak highlighted that MUZN Energy, a subsidiary of Sergas Group, has achieved remarkable progress in its strategic Natural Gas Liquefaction Project in the UAE—the first of its kind in the Middle East.
He explained that the company has completed all the necessary regulatory and technical procedures this year in preparation for the construction phase in the near future. This project represents a pivotal step toward supporting the country’s efforts to reduce emissions and enhance energy efficiency.
Damak added that the project will provide natural gas to factories and remote areas, thereby boosting productivity and enabling the development of new urban communities with advanced energy infrastructure.
IGES Joins Sergas Group
As part of its expansion and knowledge-exchange strategy, the Group announced the integration of IGES into its ecosystem, making it the Group’s consulting and engineering arm.
IGES brings expertise in specialized technical and engineering consultancy services in the energy sector, serving clients across North Africa and the Arab world. This integration supports knowledge transfer and broadens Sergas’s operational footprint in regional markets.
Damak affirmed that this move reflects Sergas’s commitment to providing comprehensive engineering and technological solutions built on efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
New Branch Opened in Dubai Industrial City
The Group also announced the opening of a new branch in Dubai Industrial City, which will serve as a key industrial hub supporting the manufacturing and commercial distribution of gas cylinders, gas equipment, and fire protection systems—responding to the rising demand in the UAE market.
This expansion aligns with Sergas’s vision to strengthen its investments in the gas and infrastructure sectors while enhancing its logistical capabilities to serve the market with greater efficiency.
Strategic Expansion in the Sultanate of Oman
In the context of regional expansion, Sergas Group announced the opening of a new facility at Misfah in Muscat, marking a major step in reinforcing its presence in the promising Omani market.
Mr.Damak explained that the project aims to develop the country’s energy infrastructure and improve operational efficiency. He emphasized that the Group remains committed to supporting its projects in Oman through increased investments and technical expertise in renewable energy, in line with the nation’s growing focus on sustainability and clean energy transition.
Launch of the Vertical Tank System – A Leap in Gas Safety and Efficiency
Sergas also unveiled its Vertical Tank System, designed for restaurants and commercial facilities—representing a significant advancement in gas distribution systems in the UAE.
The new system offers higher capacity and enhanced safety standards, along with positive environmental and urban benefits. It reduces the number of trips required to replace traditional cylinders, thereby cutting emissions and improving the visual landscape of UAE cities.
Damak noted that this system aligns with Department of Energy directives to promote public safety standards and introduce smart, sustainable solutions that serve diverse sectors of the community.
