Now in its seventh edition, the Congress is the Kingdom’s largest maritime and logistics events and will bring together global and regional industry professionals, stakeholders and exhibitors from across the two sectors.

Kanoo Shipping and Kanoo Logistics participation reflects a shared commitment to supporting Saudi Arabia’s growing role in global trade through complementary maritime and logistics services. John Drinkwater, CEO of Kanoo Shipping, commented on the division’s participation: “Saudi Arabia is central to the region’s maritime growth and the congress provides a valuable platform to share knowledge and to discuss the future of the region’s maritime and logistics sectors. This is vital for Kanoo Shipping, as we remain committed to delivering reliable maritime services that support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the Kingdom’s ambition to become a leading regional and international hub for shipping and logistics.”

This commitment builds on Kanoo Shipping’s longstanding role in the region’s maritime industry. Established as the Arabian Gulf’s first shipping agency, Kanoo Shipping has grown into the Middle East’s largest regional ship services provider, handling around 20,000 port calls each year.

Complementing Kanoo Shipping’s maritime services, Kanoo Logistics provides global freight forwarding and integrated supply chain solutions across air, sea and land. With more than five decades of experience, it serves the manufacturing, petrochemical, automotive, chemical and fast-moving consumer goods sectors, with a strong reputation for moving cargo reliably and efficiently worldwide.

Highlighting the role of these capabilities in supporting the Kingdom’s growth, Marius van Greunen, CEO of Kanoo Logistics, said: “As Saudi Arabia expands its role in global trade, businesses need logistics partners who can connect markets and manage increasingly complex supply chains. Our presence in the Kingdom, combined with our regional network and international capabilities, enables us to support these needs across multiple transport modes and industries. Through our participation, we look forward to exploring partnerships that improve cargo movement, strengthen supply chain efficiency and contribute to the Kingdom’s logistics ambitions.”

The Congress will provide both businesses with an opportunity to engage with customers and industry partners from around the world. This year’s Saudi Maritime & Logistics Congress is expected to attract more than 15,000 attendees and over 200 exhibiting companies, with more than 90 countries represented.
