\nUnder the umbrella of Riyadh Art, the world\u2019s largest public art initiative, Noor Riyadh returns for its fifth edition from November 20 to December 6, 2025. The world\u2019s largest light art festival will once again transform the Saudi capital with groundbreaking installations by leading local and international artists.<\/p>\n
The 2025 curatorial theme, \u201cIn the Blink of an Eye,\u201d is inspired by Riyadh\u2019s rapid transformation. The theme reflects the city\u2019s evolving identity, juxtaposing its historic core with its visionary infrastructure, including the newly launched metro system.<\/p>\n
Noor Riyadh is part of Riyadh Art, one of Riyadh\u2019s Four Mega Projects launched by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz, under the framework of Vision 2030. As a pioneering cultural infrastructure initiative, Riyadh Art is led by the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC), which oversees the strategic, multi-sector transformation programs for Saudi Arabia\u2019s capital, and is instrumental in positioning the Saudi capital as a global center for contemporary art and culture. The program drives cultural innovation and supports economic diversification by embedding art into public spaces and enhancing the everyday urban experience.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis year\u2019s theme captures the momentum of change that defines Riyadh today,\u201d said His Highness Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Culture, member of the Board of Directors of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, and Chairman of the Riyadh Art Program\u2019s Steering Committee. \u201cThrough Noor Riyadh, we continue to deepen the role of public art in shaping cultural exchange, enriching daily life, and positioning Riyadh as a creative capital on the world stage.\u201d<\/p>\n
Since its inception, Riyadh Art has showcased over 550 artworks by more than 500 Saudi and international artists, attracting more than 9.6 million visitors and spectators through its major programs, including Noor Riyadh.This year\u2019s edition further expands the curatorial ambition of the festival, aiming to create meaningful moments for residents and visitors alike.<\/p>\n
